FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry. Vehicle underbody structure with a sensor of lateral impact comprises power element, sensor recognition of lateral impact and the first load transfer element. Power element is arranged on outer side of the lower part of the body. Power element has a structure with closed cross-section formed by outer and inner panels. Top flanges of outer and inner panels are connected to each other. Sensor recognition of lateral impact is attached to inner panel or element connected with inner panel, or to the lower part of posts arranged separately from the power element. First load transfer element divides closed section in lengthwise direction. First connecting section is located between the upper flange inner panel or the lower part of the post and top flange outer panel. Second connection section of the first load transfer element is connected with vertical wall section located across the vehicle on the outer side of outer panel.
EFFECT: faster recognition of lateral impact.
