FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport machine building. Protective element for opening part intended for hinged installation on body structure of vehicle contains main wall made with possibility to cover external door panel, on which it is installed detachably, and lower end wall with free inclined edge. Free inclined edge is made so that it passes from below body structure, forming together with it protective barrier for lower zone of door. Lower zone of door comprises sealing element for protection against gravel emissions. Mounting of said protective element is performed on side door hingedly mounted on vehicle body structure. Body structure comprises saddles. Door comprises door frame overlapping with distance of sills.
EFFECT: improved corrosion protection of door and body structure.
