FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dust separation and may be used not only in production of technical carbon during precipitation of aerosol, as well as for trapping desired products from aerosols and cleaning of waste industrial gases from hazardous substances. Method for deposition of fine aerosols comprises filtration through granular layer arranged on aforesaid gas distribution device made of layer of coarse material, while passing downwards and regeneration layer by passing purified gas from bottom to top. Granular layer is represented by granulated pyrocarbon with packed density of 800-1000 kg/m3, and regeneration of layer of pyrocarbon through 5-30 min for 10-30 s at rate from 0.7 m/s to 1.0 m/s.
EFFECT: higher durability of filtration layer and efficient cleaning of gases at high rate of filtration (up to 1 m/s), medium temperature to 400 °C and pressure from /-5/ kPa to /+8/ kPa.
