FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical engineering, particularly to chloride technology of producing titanium dioxide. Nanostructured titanium dioxide is obtained by hydrolysis of aqueous solution containing ions of trivalent titanium. Before hydrolysis aqueous solution is treated with hydrogen peroxide and chlorine or substance selected from: peroxy acid, alkali or alkali-earth metal salt and one of oxygen-containing acids of chlorine: hypochloric, chlorous, chloric, perchloric.
EFFECT: using invention simplifies production of nanostructured titanium dioxide, which is necessary to increase its reactivity in synthesis of lithium titanate - anode material of lithium-ion batteries of electric vehicles.
