LYSIMETER Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC G01N33/24 G05D9/00

Abstract RU 2593332 C1

FIELD: instrument making.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices used in agriculture for balance research on reclaimed lands, in particular, for determining infiltration irrigation, thawed and sprinkling water. Lysimeter includes tank (1) with soil monolith (2) where a humidity sensor (7) is located, and bottom filter made of geotextile material (3) laid on grid (4) above tray (5). Tray of tank (1) is hydraulically interconnected with vertical reservoir (6) divided into a measuring tank (9) and drain well (10) with baffle plate (8), in the middle of the baffle plate there is a hole (11) in the form of opening closed with shield (12). Shield (12) is equipped with device for discharge of water in the form of siphon (15), descending line of the siphon is brought to drain well (10) towards the head of the outlet of closed header (16). Siphon neck (15) is mounted inside the hole in shield (12) made with possibility of vertical limited movement relative to opening (11) in baffle plate (8).

EFFECT: invention ensures reduction of labour intensity of the water level control and widens the field of use for metering of water consumption in irrigation or sprinkling.
