FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices used in agriculture for balance research on reclaimed lands, in particular, for determining infiltration irrigation, thawed and sprinkling water. Lysimeter includes container (1) with a soil monolith, connected with vertically installed container (6), tray (5) and water level controls. Vertically mounted vessel (b) is divided into measuring tank (9) and drain well (10) by partition (8), in middle part of which there is hole (11) in form of opening, covered with shield (12). Shield (12) is equipped with device for water discharge in form of siphon (15), descending branch of which is brought into drain well (10) towards outlet pipe end. Siphon (15) is fixed inside the hole in shield (12), made with possibility of vertical limited movement relative to opening (11) in baffle plate (8). Descending branch of siphon (15) in drain well (10) is equipped inside telescopic discharge pipe (16), which has outlet bend (17), outlet of which is directed upwards. Lysimeter is also provided with siphon (15) start-up mechanism, which is made in the form of a liquid level tube (19) connected to each other and ejector (20). At that, sensor tube (19) is connected on one side with siphon (15) rising branch located in measuring tank (9) through hole made in side partition (8) of shield (12), and on the other side with cavity of drain well ( 10) by means of ejector (20) above end of telescopic discharge branch pipe (16), which has outlet bend (17). Telescopic pipe (16) is rigidly fixed to the side wall of drain well (10), and the descending branch of siphon (15) can be fixed by means of screw (13) relative to the telescopic discharge branch (16) fixed to the wall of drain well (10).

EFFECT: lysimeter has a simplified design, provides reliability and sufficient accuracy of controlling the water level in the lysimeter operation for each taken crop and a siphon start-up mechanism for releasing water into the drain well and widens the field of use for water metering during irrigation or sprinkling, while providing automatic removal of air from the siphon.
