FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture and can be used for balance studies on reclaimed lands. Lysimeter includes a container with a soil monolith in which a moisture sensor is located and a bottom filter made of geotextile laid on the mesh over the pallet. Pallet of the above-mentioned container is hydraulically connected with a vertically installed container, which is divided into a measuring container and a drainage well by a partition, in the middle part of which a hole is made in the form of an aperture covered by a shield. Shield is equipped with a water removing device in the form of a siphon, the descending branch of which is discharged into the drainage well, and its end is bent upwards. Siphon neck is fixed inside the hole in the shield, which is made with the ability to vertically fixedly move in relation to the hole in the partition. In the measuring tank, the siphon neck contains a pipe with an air inlet hole for venting. Air inlet hole is closed by a valve equipped with a load with a variable mass.
EFFECT: accuracy and reliability of the lysimeter increases with a minimum flow, therefore, increases the accuracy of calculating the irrigation.
