FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and represents a method for evaluation of bile lithogenicity, method comprises determining (i) cholesterol content (CH, mmol/l) in patient's bile in comparison with average normal values (k), method is characterised by the fact that complex of general lipids (GL, g/l), total antioxidant activity (AOA) are determined by electrochemical method (nA·p. s.), maximum flash of chemoluminescence (MFCHL, standard units) and chemoluminescence area (CHLA, standard units), then integral indicator of bile lithogenicity (IILi) is calculated by formula: , where Ki and Kk - breeding coefficient - dilution factor of patient's bile sample and normal bile sample, with IIL not more than 1.1 of lithogenicity units respectively when determining AOA, and the higher value of IILi, the higher degree of bile lithogenicity with risk of cholelithiasis.

EFFECT: method enables to optimise selecting method of bile passages decompression aiming at prevention of early endoprosthesis incrustation, higher efficiency of therapeutic measures.
