FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: hemolysate superoxide dismutase (SODi) and catalase (CATi) activity is determined in a complex; variations of these values are assessed with respect to a reference which relates to the values SODk=0,16±0,02 and CATk=115.55±9.41. If these values are related as 1.000±0.002, the absence of function imbalance of antiradical protection enzymes is stated, and for the other values - a manifestation rate of oxidative stress and a chemoluminescence burst area is determined in addition to the maximum. Further, function imbalance of antiradical protection enzymes are assessed by an index of function imbalance of antiradical protection enzymes IFIAREi by formula. At the IFIAREi value is lower than 70.0 units, catalase insufficiency is determined, and if the IFIAREi value is more than 130.0 units, superoxide dismutase insufficiency is determined.

EFFECT: use of the method gives the chance assessing functions of the analysed enzymes that allows diagnosing the diseases accompanied by oxidative stress, the technique allows assessing an individual approach to drug-induced correction.
