FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biochemistry. Method includes a biophysical evaluation of the quality of a biological sample based on the chemiluminescence spectrum. Said evaluation is characterised by that in the native, decellularized and recellularized biological samples, the rates of free radical oxidation are estimated from the intensity of the chemiluminescence flashes and the viability of cellular structures is calculated according to the corresponding formula. Invention improves the efficiency of implementation of protocols in the preparation of tissue-engineering structures, implementation of the method in a short time without the use of special chemiluminescence activators and chemical inducers, as well as quantitative assessment of the characteristics of generation of free radicals in the investigated tissues and the determination of the viability of cellular structures for various types of tissues.
EFFECT: method for rapid assessment of the viability of cells in tissue engineering structures is proposed.
