METHOD FOR REAGENTLESS TREATMENT OF QUARRY WATER FROM SUSPENDED SUBSTANCES AND HEAVY METALS Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC C02F9/08 C02F1/34 C02F1/20 B01D21/00 B06B1/00 E03F1/00 C02F1/52 B01D36/04

Abstract RU 2593607 C1

FIELD: mining; processing and recycling of wastes.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for reagentless treatment of industrial waste, drainage water, in diamond and mining industry, in hydraulic engineering structures for preliminary water preparation. Method for reagentless treatment of quarry water includes continuous hydroacoustic action on the purified quarry water with the help of waves of sound frequency range with hydroacoustic coagulation of heavy metals with suspended substances and their subsequent concentration in precipitation compacted by hydroacoustic seal in sequentially and functionally connected main settler 11, first 17 and second 18 additional settlers. Additionally the mid layer of quarry water is released from the output of the second additional settler. Settling section 11 of quarry water coarse purification is used as the main settler. Deepened and expanded collecting trenches 17 are used as the first additional settler, built in the area of distributed releases from water conduit for settling section 11 of quarry water coarse purification to surface filtration field 21. Second additional settler is a semi-open settler 18 - part of the surface filtration field filled with cleared quarry water. Settler-accumulator 20 is used as the third additional settler. Filtration dam 19 is additionally used, it is the output of semi-open settler and input into the settler-accumulator, and surface run-off field 21 - section of the natural landscape from the settler-accumulator 20 to input into natural water course. Quarry water hydroacoustic degassing and hydroacoustic deposition of the initial and previously coagulated suspended substances is performed by hydroacoustic waves of sound frequency range and ultrasonic frequency range radiation directed downwards. Whole volume of quarry water is released from the output of the settling section 11 of coarse purification. Mid layer of quarry water is released from the output of the second additional settler 18 through filtration dam 19 in the third additional settler 20. Hydroacoustic seal of impermeable dams bodies of all three additional settlers are performed by hydroacoustic waves of sound frequency range and ultrasonic frequency range radiation directed towards them.

EFFECT: invention enables the step-by-step quality purification of quarry water to standards required by environmental laws, as well as effective reagentless precipitation seal with minimum financial and time expenditures ensuring safety for human being and environment.
