FIELD: computer engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automatic digital control and is intended to control systems for filling containers with liquid. According to disclosed solution level in reservoir-collector is adjusted by changing liquid flow rate of asynchronous motor rotation frequency of pumping unit by means of frequency converter. Frequency converter maintains required flow rate value set by control device. Value of flow rate is determined according to law of proportional-integral-differential (PID) control depending on level of liquid in container-collector. Method allows to protect open pipeline against freezing in winter time by adding to process of consumption of additional PID-channel by liquid temperature indicator in final part of pipeline. Method is implemented in digital control system of liquid level in container-collector.
EFFECT: high efficiency of liquid level control in container-collector with protection of open pipeline against freezing in winter time.
