SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the thermal power industry, namely to the field of remote control of the operation of industrial boilers controlled by a PLC (programmable logic controller). A method for controlling the operation of a boiler unit using a PLC is claimed, which comprises the steps at which, using the PLC computing unit: receive control data for the technological parameters of the operation of the boiler unit; calculate the initial value of the day-averaged value of the steam-fuel ratio (SFR) based on the obtained parameters of the boiler unit according to the formula: SFR=SA/FA, where SA is the amount of production steam, FA is the amount of fuel consumed, and the steam pressure channel indicator is calculated proportionally-integrally - differential controller (PID controller) installed in the PLC; on the basis of the calculated indicator SFR generates a signal for adjusting the PID controller in terms of increasing the proportionality factor of the steam pressure channel by 10-20%; calculate the current steam-fuel ratio based on the changes made; a signal is generated to reduce the parameter of the integration time parameter of the PID controller of the steam pressure control channel by 10-20% relative to the value determined earlier, and the indicator of the daily SFR is determined, while if the decrease in the integration time parameter led to an increase in the average SFR relative to the maximum detected value of the SFR, then iteratively repeat the decrease in the integration time of the PID controller with the analysis at each step of increments of the ratio of steam - fuel averaged per day until a decrease in the value of the ratio of steam - fuel is recorded or an increase in the frequency of switching on the gas damper of the boiler unit above the threshold value is recorded; determining the value of the integration time of the PID controller corresponding to the maximum value of the SFR at a given proportionality coefficient of the steam pressure channel; the above steps are iteratively repeated, writing the obtained values to the PLC memory as a reference for regulating the operation of the boiler unit.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of the boiler unit and reducing emissions of combustion products by reducing the consumption of fuel and energy resources with the help of adaptive adjustment of the PLC that regulates the operating mode of the boiler unit.
