FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: proposed steering circuit of freight vehicles comprises transverse steering tie rods, drive and lever element. Lever element is secured to turn in first centre of rotation of system. Drive includes return mechanism, activating mechanism and damper. Unit of transverse steering tie rods is fixed to turn in second centre of rotation on lever element so that unit of transverse steering tie rods along transverse axis causes rotary movement of lever element around first centre of rotation. Return mechanism contains elements of cylinder and return element. Elements are composed of hollow cylinders. Ratio of maximum spring stroke return to total length of return mechanism in neutral position varies from 0.3 to 0.8. Steering control system comprises described assembled steering control circuit with return mechanism.
