FIELD: construction; acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed is acoustic panel structure for use as a suspended ceiling tiles, having a rectangular shape confined by edges, and defining face surface, containing at least one corrugated layer with total thickness, at least one said layer has parallel folds made extended through the space of rectangular shape conceptually from one edge of the panel to its opposite edge, the folds are formed by the walls of at least one said layer and have a specific volume, a row of holes, each having a specific area, passing through at least one wall with folds and communicating with atmosphere on the front surface, and the area of holes, cavity space of the fold coupled with a hole, and total thickness of the corrugated layers coupled with a hole are set to generate peak absorption frequency in the range between 200 Hz and 2,000 Hz.
EFFECT: proposed acoustic panel structure for use as suspended ceiling tile.
