FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymer composite materials which can be used in making structural items in aviation, automobile, household and other industries. Method of producing binder based on resol type phenol-formaldehyde resin for laminar material involves mixing components. Resin and phospolyol are taken in a solvent which is a mixture of ethyl alcohol and dimethyl formamide, with ratio of components, wt%: ethyl alcohol - 98, dimethyl formamide - 2. Resin, phospolyol and solvent are taken at ratio of components, wt%: resin - 23.7, solvent - 75.3, phospolyol - 1.0. Nano-modifier is dispersed in obtained mixture of components, said nano-modifier being, mechanically activated in a ball mill with weight ratio of balls and initial detonation nanodiamonds, or diamond charge, or carbon nanotubes 20:1, respectively, with speed of rotation of mill balls of 900 rpm for 5-10 minutes. Obtained binder contains resin with phospolyol in a solvent and nano-modifier in following ratio, wt%: resin with phospolyol in a solvent - 99.9985-99.7, nano - 0.0015-0.3. Layered material based on binder and reinforcing fibrous base of paper based on aromatic polyamide has finishing layer from a composition containing polyamide, ethyl alcohol and water. Said binder is applied uniformly onto surface of glazing layer in an amount equal to weight of fibre base. As a result, value of shear stress at compression of articles from laminar material and increases 3-fold and flammability thereof decreases in 1.3-fold.

EFFECT: obtaining binder based on phenol-formaldehyde resin without use of highly flammable liquid and highly toxic substances.
