FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cement compositions and methods for reducing air entrainment in cement compositions. Method of reducing air entrainment in a cement composition, comprising: (a) adding defoaming composition to a cement composition, where defoaming composition contains an organic acid ester and polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene block copolymer; (b) mixing defoaming composition and cement composition to form a mixture; and (c) a mixture for hardening to produce solid cement; where defoaming composition promotes reduction of air entrainment in a cement composition compared to a cement composition not containing defoaming composition; where organic acid ester and polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene block copolymer is a product of diesterification reaction of polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene block copolymer and organic acid selected from a group consisting of oleic acid, stearic acid, suberic acid, azelaic acid, sebacic acid, phthalic acid, isophthalic acid, terephthalic acid, and mixtures thereof. Invention is developed in subclaims of formula of invention.

EFFECT: technical result is prevention of foaming.
