SUBSTANCE: invention can be used mainly for drilling horizontal or close to horizontal sections of a well shaft. Downhole feed mechanism comprises a cylinder and screw spindle interacting with each other in form of splined self-releasing screw pair arranged in cylinder piston, connected with screw spindle and hollow rod, a closed chamber with throttle and parallel hydraulic channel with a check valve. Cylinder is equipped with located along axis of cylinder an axial spindle and is rigidly connected to it axial piston interacting with cylinder inner surface and external surface of hollow rod, wherein closed chamber is formed by hollow rod, piston, axial piston and cylinder, and connection of axial spindle and cylinder is made in form of axial spline pair. Piston and axial piston can interact with each other by means of compression springs fitted in a closed chamber.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
