FIELD: packaging industry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method and device for packaging in multi-layer thin plastic film, which is divided into subdivided from each other elements. In particular elements are made in the form of tubular bags for portioned reception of different products. Wherein the plastic films are provided with welding seams with predetermined spacing between one another to form bag-like containers, running substantially transversely to the longitudinal direction of tubular material and the containers are separated from one another by a cutting or separating process. Method being characterized by the steps: a) welding the films with predetermined spacing by means of an ultrasound welding process, maintaining a defined, film-dependent distance between a processing tool (1) and a counter tool (2) while welding; b) separating the tubular bags welded in this way by means of a mechanical cutting process, without ultrasound excitation or with reduced ultrasound excitation at the point of the respective weld seams. Device for packing in multi-layer thin plastic film contains ultrasonic generators for activation of the tool. Drive and/or guide (5) are equipped with remote members to allow maintaining the specified gap for processing during ultrasonic welding.

EFFECT: technical result, ensuring the use of a method and device consists in the process of packing with higher speed and without defects caused by not sealed welds or sticking and retained within lines of welding residues of product.
