FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment. Device contains dialyzer, line for feeding fresh dialysis solution, drain line connected to the dialyzer, and measuring device located in drain line for assessing absorption by spent dialyzing solution, flowing along drain line, and comprising radiation source for radiation of monochromatic electromagnetic radiation, as well as detector system for determining intensity of electromagnetic radiation. Electronic controller is provided for controlling intensity of radiation source so that to enable determination of preset intensity after absorption of fresh dialyzing solution and/or without absorption fresh dialyzing solution in detector system for compensation of changes, which occur in intensity of electromagnetic radiation of radiation source and/or sensitivity of detector system. Temperature regulator is used for temperature control of radiation source to preset operating temperature and/or temperature detector system to preset operating temperature. Disclosed is method of compensating for changes in intensity of electromagnetic radiation source and sensitivity of detector system.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of accuracy of determining result of replacement therapy due to compensation for changes in intensity of radiation source in time.
