SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a hardhat. Proposed hardhat has a body (1) intended to at least partially cover the head of a person wearing this hardhat. Body (1) of the hardhat includes a front area (3), a back area (4), which is located opposite the said front area (3), two side areas (5) located opposite each other, and a lower free end edge (7). Body (1) of the hardhat has an underchin strap assembly (2) attached to it. Strap is arranged by the hardhat body (1) and intended to hold this body (1) on the head of a person wearing this hardhat. Said underchin strap assembly (2) includes an underchin strap (12) configured to move between its lower position whereat it holds the hardhat body (1) on a human head, and its upper, retracted position.
EFFECT: head protection.
