SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a phased antenna array and communication system, comprising said antenna array; feature of said antenna array is that antenna subarray in horizontal projection has triangular shape, and radiating elements are arranged in triangular array on a base made of foamed material, wherein antenna array comprises multiple solid hexagonal panels, each of which is assembled from six triangular blocks of subarrays, and multiple halves of hexagonal panels, wherein whole hexagonal panels and halves of hexagonal panels are arranged so that they form a tightly packed antenna unit.

EFFECT: providing more effective beam pattern of antenna elements.
