SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication engineering and can be used for configuration of search space for control channels. Method of channel search space configuration includes indication control channel search space by means of pairs of parameters. Pair of parameters includes physical resource block index and explicit index control channel element, wherein explicit index control channel element identifies specific control channel element connected to physical resource unit, corresponding to said index of physical resource unit, wherein explicit control channel element index is determined based on physical resource block index and amount of control channel elements related to physical resource unit, corresponding to said index of physical resource block, while said number of control channel elements for physical resource block index indicates possible aggregation levels inside physical resource block corresponding to physical resource block index, and there is same initial position for control channel search space.

EFFECT: technical result is improvement of structure of improved physical downlink control channel (E-PDCCH) due to configuration of search space.
