SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication networks, particularly for establishing a connection between user equipment and a core network. Disclosed are systems, methods, devices and computer program products for control or monitoring of a control channel in a system of new radio access technologies (NR) using blind search attempts. One of the methods includes configuring by a network node a plurality of search spaces, sets of search spaces and / or sets of control resources for user equipment, which leads to formation of monitoring events, in which more blind decoding is required than permitted by user equipment capabilities. Method also includes identification of monitoring events, for which the permissible number of blind decoding is exceeded, definition of a reduced set of blind decodings and / or candidates, wherein reduced set of blind decoding and / or candidates is determined by predetermined priorities or rules for search space, and transmission of physical downlink control channel(s) to user equipment based on said shortened set.

EFFECT: invention reduces the number of attempts to process blind searches.
