SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment and is applicable in dentistry, for daily dental care, for removing of food debris from interdental space and dental deposit, for prevention of gingivitis. Dental floss consists of twisted or not twisted cellulose diacetate threads containing antimicrobial additive-lycopene, at the following component ratio, wt. %: cellulose diacetate 95-99; lycopene 1-5 %.
EFFECT: invention allows to increase the therapeutic and preventive effect on pathogenic microflora of the oral cavity.
