FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology, and can be used in surgical treatment of glaucoma. After formation of superficial scleral flap corneal paracentesis is performed to reduce excessive intraocular pressure and attenuation of stress in layers of cornea. Then at step of cutting out deep scleral flap in opened cavity of Schlemm's canal and corneal layers is introduced high-molecular weight viscoelastic to separate trabecular Descemet's membrane from corneal-scleral fabric by 1-1.5 mm above Schlemm's canal. In a projection of buffer cavity from high-molecular viscoelastic is carried out excision of corneal-scleral stroma and trabecular Descemet's membrane is released.
EFFECT: method provides protection of trabecular Descemet's membrane, both from perforations and microperforations by a sharp surgical tool due to interlayer of high-molecular viscoelastic, which keeps shape, and does not flow from formed buffer zone between layers of cornea.
