FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electroplating, particularly to electrolytic chrome plating of parts made of heat-resistant steels. Method involves degreasing, activation in hydrochloric acid, chrome-plating in electrolyte with concentration of chromium trioxide equal to 250 g/l and of sulphuric acid - to 2.5 g/l, washing after every operation, at that, activation is carried out in a solution of concentrated hydrochloric acid at a temperature of 15-35 °C during 5-10 s and chrome-plating is performed at current density of 50-60 A/dm2 and temperature of 50-55 °C.
EFFECT: high adhesion of chromium coating to heat-resistant steel and corrosion resistance of parts.
