SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel octapeptide compounds of general formula (I), which have high affinity to some subtypes of somatostatin receptors. Invention also relates to pharmaceutical compositions containing said products and use thereof for preparing a drug R-AA1-cyclo-(AA2-Tyr3-D-TRP4-AA5-Val6-Cys7)-Thr8-NH2 (I).
EFFECT: compounds are intended for treating pathological conditions or diseases, involving one or more somatostatin receptors.
