Method of creating a list electronic messages, where a server receives information relating to a plurality of electronic messages, each electronic message includes a header, having a plurality of header fields, and a body, wherein content is located; displaying a list electronic messages, which includes in relation to at least some electronic messages information including at least some of header fields; for a first electronic message, server either determines classification of first electronic message or extracts from a database classification of first electronic message, classification includes a type of sender and at least one type of message; and displaying in list information relating to first electronic message included in list of electronic messages, different from information in header fields, wherein information is displayed in first predetermined format based on classification of electronic message first predetermined format is different from format, in which content of body was initially obtained.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of handling electronic messages.
