FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to fodder production. Method for production of fodder composition involves adding Aspergillus and lactic acid bacteria in the carbohydrate-containing raw material, fermentation of carbohydrate raw material by cultivating Aspergillus and lactic acid bacteria in aerobic conditions to produce liquid fodder additive and addition in the fodder composition, in terms of dry substance of the fodder raw material, from 5 to 50 wt% of the said fodder additive. Fodder composition contains, in terms of dry substance of the fodder raw material, from 5 to 50 wt% of liquid fodder additive, produced by fermentation of carbohydrate-containing raw materials by cultivation of Aspergillus and lactic acid bacteria in aerobic conditions. Aspergillus can represent Aspergillus niger. Liquid content in the fodder additive may be equal to 70 % or more. Group of inventions allows producing a fodder composition with long storage life.
EFFECT: fodder composition ensures increasing live weight of farm animals and reducing fodder consumption.
