FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems and methods to provide a requestor with continuous access to a resource when operating in a client clustered environment. Requestor residing on a first client in may attempt to access a resource. First client sends a request to access resource. Request may be associated with an application instance identifier that identifiers requestor. At some point, first client fails and requestor is associated with a second client via a failover mechanism. Second client sends a second request to access resource on behalf of requestor. Second request is associated with requestor's application instance identifier. Application instance identifier is used to identify second request as belonging to same requestor as first request, thereby granting second request to access resource while avoiding a conflict situation.

EFFECT: technical result is faster operation in a network.
