FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention describes a method for life-time determination of morpho-functional characteristics of connective tissue membranes of eyeball. Method involves the following: during surgery there is separated a fragment of tenon's capsule, which is milled and frozen in liquid nitrogen to -180 °C; for assessment on a cyto-flow meter of CD markers distribution on the cell surface Tenon's capsule, the frozen material is defrosted in vapors of nitrogen, transferred into a centrifugal tube, washed with normal saline and centrifuged, supernatant is removed and the substance is washed with normal saline for the second time; then normal saline is added to the sediment and the produced tissue suspension is ground with recovering cell elements of tenon's capsule; in the obtained suspension CD markers are determined. Method provides high sensitivity and specificity of determining populations and subpopulations of tenon's capsule cells.

EFFECT: objectivity of results interpretation allows to use the disclosed method for development of more effective methods of prevention and treatment of the visual organ pathology, in which connective-woven structures of the eye are involved.
