METHOD FOR FUNCTIONAL AND QUANTITATIVE EVALUATION OF PLATELET-MONOCYTIC COMPLEXES IN WHOLE PERIPHERAL BLOOD SAMPLES Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC G01N33/577 G01N1/30 A61B5/145

Abstract RU 2762820 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine. A method for functional and quantitative evaluation of platelet-monocyte complexes (PMCs) in whole peripheral blood samples is proposed. For this purpose, the blood is stabilized within no more than 1 minute after sampling from the ulnar vein, a flow cytometry test is performed using a panel of diagnostic markers CD45/CD14/CD41a/CD16/CD62P/CD40/CD11b/CD162/CD142. CD40 is used to identify PMC with the function of proinflammatory activity, CD11b marker is used to identify PMCs with the function of adhesive activity, CD62P/CD162/CD142 markers are used to identify PMCs with the function of prothrombotic activity, CD45/CD14/CD41a/CD16 markers are used to identify formed PMCs from the total pool of peripheral blood cell elements with determination of their number.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to assess the activation status of PMCs both in the general population of monocytes and in their individual subpopulations.
