FIELD: veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of chemical protection of animals against attacks of blood-sucking insects. For this purpose, use is made of deltamethrin, which is sprayed in aerosol form in ultra-small volumes with a concentration of 0.036-0.05 % of the active substance (AS) with a norm of consumption per one animal equal to 7 ml of water emulsion (w.e.).
EFFECT: method allows to increase 2 times duration of protection while reducing concentration of the veterinary preparation and labour input actions.
