FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology, in particular to the protection of herd horses from blood-sucking insects and imago stomach botflies without spraying animals with insecticides. The method includes the treatment of the territory of the shade canopy with aerosol mist in the absence of animals 1 time in 3 days from a distance of 50 m radius. At the same time, the dispersion of aerosol mist is 70-120 mcm, a 0.05% aqueous emulsion of deltamethrin is used according to the active substance at the rate of 10 liters per 1 ha. When attacked by blood-sucking insects and stomach botflies, horses, according to the positive trophicity of seeking protection and rest from harmful insects, gather daily without human participation in a shady canopy and in the area around it with a radius of 50 m, where there are completely no blood-sucking horseflies, mosquitoes, midges and imago stomach botflies.
EFFECT: efficient protection of herd horses from blood-sucking insects.
