FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to veterinary science, particularly to a method for protection of cattle against harmful insects. Ultra-low-volume treatment of cattle is performed at distance of 20–30 m by spraying over a herd of cows of aerosol fog with dispersion of 70–120 mcm, wherein 0.05 % aqueous emulsion of deltamethrin is used as per active substance at rate of 15 ml per cow, providing 6 hours of duration of protective action at protective action coefficient more than 75 %.
EFFECT: high environmental friendliness of treating animals with simultaneous increase in the insecticide and repellent effectiveness of the preparation.
