FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of detecting nerve structures in tissues. Substance of invention consists in that analysed material is initially perfused through vessels with 5 % glucose solution with placing for 10-15 minutes in 1-2 % dimethyl sulphoxide solution on distilled water with further flushing of vascular bed with 5 % glucose solution, introduction into vessels of 2 % solution of Co(NO₃)₂ for 15-20 minutes and flushing for 1-2 minutes with 5 % glucose solution, then placing for impregnation in a mixture of 10 % Na₂S and 70 % ethanol for 1-8 hours depending on structure and weight of material, followed by washing in distilled water until disappearance of odour of hydrogen sulphide, fixation for 3-days in 10 % neutral formalin and post-colouring of obtained histological sections in 0.15 % gallocyanine, wherein nerve fibres analysed on micropreparation, particularly nonmedullated - intensively black on light background, and nuclei of cells and their cytoplasm - slightly blue.

EFFECT: use of disclosed method increases efficiency of detection of nerve structures in tissue.
