FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for neurons and their axons identification in the central nervous system, which includes flushing of investigated material vessels with 5% glucose solution, placement in a 10% solution of Na2S, flushing with 5% glucose solution and distilled water, slices preparation and filling with balm, different in the fact that after investigated material vessels flushing with 5% glucose solution, 0.133 m CoCl2 or CoSO4 solution on 5% glucose is introduced for 15-20 minutes and after placement in the 10% solution of Na2S washed out by the glucose solution, it is rinsed for 5-10 minutes in 10% formalin solution and the frozen slices are quickly (no more than 10 seconds) treated in 0.1% solution of AgNO3, carefully washed in distilled water, with further dehydration and embalming, and black COS granules and fine axons and dark brown dendrites are detected in the studied neurons.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of detection of neurons, their axons and dendrites.
