FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to non-destructive testing of materials and items based on strength conditions and is intended to control process of cracking of fragile strain indicators with change of level of intensity in analysed areas of structure. Mechanobiological method for investigation of deformation and stress in parts includes application on analysed surface of part of a fragile strain-sensitive coating, hardening coating, loading part and determining zones and pattern of plastic deformations in case of luminescence of analysed surface of part. Strain-sensitive coating includes gram-positive obligate anaerobic bacteria of Clostridiaceae family in dry forms, sprouted on dry nutrient media, in amount of 100-300 mg per 1 kg of coating.
EFFECT: invention allows early determination of local damages of structures and materials.
