FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of simulating optical radiation of aerial targets. For simulation of aerial target false radiation source is released, in which broadband false optical radiation is induced by means of a set of emitting light-emitting diodes of different range and/or lasers, mixing multiplicatively said discrete radiation on non-linear optical elements, separating and filtering sections spectra, required for simulation of a specific aerial target, and unnecessary sections are compensated or attenuated using optical filters, then additively mixed and dispersed on outer shell of simulator.
EFFECT: higher accuracy and quality of simulating optical radiation of aerial target.
