FIELD: weaponry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optic-and-electronic countermeasures and is intended to provide for individual protection of an aircraft against guided missiles with optical horning heads. The aircraft individual protection device is mounted onboard the aircraft and contains IR and UV emitters whose optical axes are parallel. The second and the third outputs of the onboard device for an attacking missile detection and tracking are accordingly connected to the device for measurement of brightness of the background and the daytime sky and to the sensor performing registration of the aircraft surface illumination whose outputs are connected to the corresponding inputs of the onboard computer device. The UV emitter is represented by an adjustable intensity radiation source whose input is connected to the output of the device for control of UV radiation intensity.
