MULTICHANNEL DIRECTION FINDER OF RF RADIO SIGNALS Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC G01S3/14 G01S3/46 G01S5/04

Abstract RU 2752249 C2

FIELD: radio metering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radio engineering and can be used to measure the azimuths and elevation angles of a radio wave coming from radio sources in the HF range. TA multi-channel direction finder contains an antenna array of at least three antennas in the bearing plane, an antenna switch and a multi-channel digital receiver with signal and reference channels and a common heterodyne, an analog-to-digital converter, Fourier transform units and spectrum convolution calculations, bearing and elevation angle determination units. The direction finder is made of one central and at least two peripheral antenna-receiving modules connected to it, each of which additionally includes a satellite navigation receiver with an antenna. The antenna-receiving modules are spaced at a distance exceeding the base of the antenna spacing of the antenna arrays 10-20 times. The central antenna-receiving module additionally contains a control unit, a computer for complex amplitudes of the general and peripheral signals of the reference antennas, containing blocks for determining the bearing and the elevation angle, a computer for a complex two-dimensional angular spectrum.

EFFECT: increased bearing accuracy.
