FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: device includes protection and production strings, a platform, a spring-loaded support plate, a ball shutoff mechanism, a pair of pipe cutters and a lever mechanism. A support plate is rigidly attached to the production string. The ball shutoff mechanism is installed on the protection string and made as composite or single-piece, in the form of a hollow spherical housing and a ball arranged in it with a possibility of its being turned across the string. The pair of the pipe cutters is arranged above and under the ball shutoff mechanism. A cut section of the protection string is removed with the lever mechanism.
EFFECT: remote control of operation of a device, which provides a high degree of safety for life of service personnel and prompt well covering.
