FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to refractory industry and can be used for repairing and lining of metallurgical units, including converters, degassers, ARC steel smelting furnaces, steel pouring ladles. Fire-resistant gun mass, containing granular periclase filler, dispersed periclase and binder, according to invention as granular periclase filler contains periclase with particle size of not more than 4 mm and density of not less than 3.25 g/cm3, the binder contains a mixture of inorganic and ceramic components upon that the ratio of inorganic components to ceramic components makes up 1.5-2.9, with the following component ratio, wt%: said granular periclase 48-75, dispersed periclase 18-33, forementioned binder 7-19. As the inorganic components of the binder there should be at least of the following components: sodium polyphosphate, sodium tripolyphosphate, sodium metasilicate, boric acid, orthophosphoric acid, magnesium sulphate or their combinations, as the ceramic components - at least one of the following components: basalt fibre, mullite fibre, finely dispersed silicon dioxide, talc, refractory clay, kaolin, alumina, finely dispersed corundum or their combination.
EFFECT: improve of adhesion of sprayed layer to lining, reducing of tendency to cracking and increasing of the strength.
