FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to refractory industry and can be used in producing refractories for repairing the lining of melting facilities, particularly during hot repair of a converter. The magnesian gun mixture contains fire-resistant magnesian aggregate, phenol-formaldehyde resin, sodium polyphosphate and coal-tar pitch. The fire-resistant magnesian aggregate of the 0.01-3 mm fraction used is a mixture of molten periclase and a dust-free bar of periclase or periclase-carbon articles in ratio 2-6:6-2. The gun mixture additionally contains aluminous pyrophyllite from the Kul-Yurt-Tau deposit, with the following ratio of components, in wt %: sodium polyphosphate - 1-2; phenol-formaldehyde resin - 4-5; coal-tar pitch - 1-3; aluminous pyrophyllite from the Kul-Yurt-Tau deposit - 0-2; mixture of molten periclase and a dust-free bar of periclase or periclase-carbon articles - the balance.
EFFECT: high resistance to molten metal and slag.
