SUBSTANCE: flexure device (106) comprises: first housing part (110) of foldable electronic device (102) that includes flexible display (104), first housing part (110) integrated with a first section of flexible display (104); second housing part (112) of foldable electronic device (102), second housing part (112) integrated with a second section of flexible display (104); and a structure of pivotable links (120) that couples first (110) and second (112) housing parts of foldable electronic device (102). Pivotable links (120) are configured to collapse relative to each other so that they extend radially when viewed in cross section from center to form radius (122) of bending of flexible display (104) and maintain flexible display (104) in closed position of foldable electronic device (102). Structure of pivotable links (120) is further configured to support flexible display (104) in an open position of foldable electronic device (102) and flexible display (104) is configured to envelope pivotable links (120), when pivotable links (120) are folded to form radius (122) of bending as first (110) and second (112) housing parts of foldable electronic device (102) are closed.
