FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry, particularly discloses a winter tyre tread. Tyre tread comprises area of contact with soil, separated by at least two longitudinal grooves extending continuously in tyre lengthwise direction, transversal grooves crossing lengthwise groove to form a row of blocks containing units arranged in tyre lengthwise direction. At least one unit contains at least two segments extending in tyre axial direction and separating unit at least into three parts, including outer and inner part, where total axial length of all segments is from 100 to 400 size of width of tyre tread. Outer part has is longer than inner part, and ratio of the longitudinal length of outer part to longitudinal length of inner part is more than 1.0, but less than 3.0.
EFFECT: technical result is improved resistance to uneven wear of tyre tread with preservation of running characteristics on icy roads.
