FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to machine building, particularly, to friction linings used in units operating in the presence of a lubricating material. Friction lining is made from a polymer friction composite, the working surface of which has grooves that incorporate two lateral surfaces and a base. Grooves that are arranged transversally have a trapezoidal shape, where each side surface of a groove and base form an angle of not less than 91° 4'.
EFFECT: stable friction properties, reduced wear of friction elements, better cleaning of friction contact zone from wear products due to optimum shape of grooves.
