FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport and is intended for transfer and positioning of large objects, in particular explosion-proof chambers. Method of delivering explosion-proof chamber to testing site involves placing and securing latter on device (1) and moving transport device (1) with explosion-proof chamber to adjustment device placed at testing site. Transport device with explosion-proof chamber enters opening of adjustment device, hinged supports (13) of transport device are fixed and lifting mechanism and rotary support unit (6) of adjustment device are used to perform lifting, turning and lowering explosion-proof chamber to touch support of explosion-proof chamber of movable plates of adjustment device. On adjustment device by means of its helical adjusting posts and mechanisms for horizontal movement of movable plates, explosion-proof chamber is moved to working position. Control of transport device is performed by means of a button panel on a current lead, and adjustment device either by means of a button panel on current lead, or remotely with control computer.

EFFECT: invention provides effective and safe delivery of explosion-proof chamber to testing site.
