FIELD: high- frequency astronomic equipment. SUBSTANCE: mobile optical device whose functional capabilities and characteristics are not worse than those of stationary ones has positioning and supporting unit mounted on transport platform provided with frame and wheel assemblies. Device base is built integral with platform frame which mounts split casing and its open/close actuators. Platform frame is connected through split joint to wheel assemblies and is made for locking in position on embedded parts of mounting floor to disconnect wheel assemblies. Device is provided with adjustable intermediate support through which it is mounted on platform frame. Split casing is built up of two vertically split sections each incorporating two horizontally split parts for their telescopic arrangement to set casing in open position; it is hinged to platform frame by means of casing open/close actuators and can rest on respective embedded parts of mounting floor when casing is open. EFFECT: reduced damage probability in case of unexpected terrestrial or atmospheric fluctuations; improved precision of guidance. 9 dwg
